Steak and Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 2 ribeye steaks

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Mashed Potatoes:

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat and sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side.

  3. Add butter, garlic, and rosemary. Baste the steaks and cook to desired doneness.

  4. Boil potatoes until tender, drain, and mash.

  5. Mix in milk, butter, salt, and pepper.

  6. Serve steaks with mashed potatoes.

Burgers and Fries

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 4 burger buns

  • 4 slices cheese

  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles, condiments

Fries:

  • 3 large potatoes, cut into fries

  • 2 cups vegetable oil

  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Season beef and form into patties.

  2. Cook on a grill or pan for 3-4 minutes per side.

  3. Toast buns and assemble burgers with toppings.

  4. Heat oil to 350°F and fry potatoes until golden.

  5. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.

  6. Serve burgers with fries.
